A dear friend of mine was checking out my Etsy page, but couldn't find the "Baseball Mom" pin I sometimes wear. I had to explain to her that I bought it at a craft show (the horror!). I know, don't let that get out! She then challenged me to make one for her, well, actually three as Mother's Day gifts. After studying it, I thought, bring it on! I got some wooden cutouts from Michael's, acrylic paint, and paint pens. I wasn't sure how it would all come together, but in the end I thought I should make one for myself...I liked mine better than the one I bought. She was thrilled, and I'm sure we'll be seeing some more Julie-inspired projects to come! Love you, Julie!
